Important information.

Jackssnaps Northumbrian site will shortly be moving to an alternate ISP.
This site is to be used purely for Railway and Railway related content.
As usual it is my intention not to register the site with any search engines in the hope that the people who turn up here have done so through "word of mouth"
or via Discussion Forums.
As ever, your comments would be very welcome. Hope you find the images on the site of interest/help.

Arl reet. Thanks for dropping bye.
Just started to put this site together on the 8th. October 2001 following the demise of Club Photo.

The idea behind this site is to show visitors some of the more unusual, obscure, historic and hopefully newsworthy aspects of Northumbria.(That great land betwixt Tweed & Tees.)
Initially the photographs that appear are to fulfil the requests of friends, colleagues, correspondents etc., so hopefully you will excuse the occasional interloping image from outside the area and the odd photograph that has absolutely nothing to do with the North East of England.
If anybody is interested, the photographs were taken using a variety of Nikon 35mm equipment. Filmstock is almost universally Fuji (Velvia or Fujicolor Press 800) The images were digitised using a Nikon Coolscan II Some pics were taken using a Nikon Coolpix 100. Non of the images have been Enhanced. The only manipulation being a small amount of cropping.
As normal if you've requested a photo, it will, appear here. EVENTUALLY!
Those that know me appreciate that I don't have a lot of spare time and that hanging on may be the name of the game.
